Sebastian Korda continued his impressive start to 2023 by delivering a statement performance on Friday at the Australian Open, where he outplayed Daniil Medvedev 7-6(7), 6-3, 7-6(4) in the third round.
Former World number 1 Medvedev was not at his best on the night. He failed to become only the fourth man in the Open era to reach three consecutive Australian Open finals after Novak Djokovic, Mats Wilander and Ivan Lendl.
