Vijender Singh's triumphant return to the ring, beats Ghana's Eliasu Sulley

Olympic bronze medallist Vijender Singh triumphantly bounced back from his first-ever pro-boxing defeat last year as he knocked out Ghana's ace boxer Eliasu Sulley in the professional boxing event, Jungle Rumble in Raipur on Wednesday.

After a cautious first round, Vijender dominated the reigning national West Arica Boxing Union throughout the game to extend his pro-boxing record to 13-1.

The 36-year-old won the bout in the second round and handed Sulley his first defeat after 8 consecutive victories. Vijender Singh who won the bout after 2 years said his next fight would be in either December 2022 or January next year.
