A college basketball game between Texas A&M Commerce and Incarnate Word ended in chaos as a brawl erupted following the Southland Conference match in the USA, overshadowing Texas A&M Commerce's 76-72 overtime victory.

The altercation began in the handshake line at the game's conclusion, though the initial cause of the conflict remains unclear. The melee, lasting about two minutes, saw both team's coaching staff struggling to quell the violence.

The ESPN Footage shows several players from Incarnate Word initially heading towards the locker room, only to rush back towards the bench as tensions flared. The conflict quickly escalated, with punches thrown amidst the chaos near the bench area before spreading to the court's center.

A separate altercation broke out on the sidelines, drawing participants from both teams into the fray, perilously close to the spectator stands. Broadcasters covering the game reported that the altercation had resulted in an injury to a spectator, specifically mentioning a "young girl" being hit, although the video did not clearly capture this moment. Additionally, a team manager appeared to have sustained injuries, evident from the "blood on his face" as mentioned by one of the announcers.

The chaotic scene eventually came under control, with both teams being escorted to their respective locker rooms.
