After grabbing the broadcasting rights to big-ticket events like the FIFA World Cup and the Indian Premier League, Viacom18 has also bagged the rights for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon.
Viacom18 will broadcast Olympic Games in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The broadcasting company will provide multi-platform coverage of the Games, and ensure free-to-air television coverage within the region.
