Vinesh Phogat, the most prominent face of the wrestlers' protest at Jantar Mantar, accused the Wrestling Federation of India of mismanagement of funds.
During the wrestlers' media address on Wednesday, Vinesh requested the Chairman Emeritus of the TATA Group, Ratan Tata, to look into how his donations are used by the WFI.
She said, "TATA has been supporting wrestling for the last 5 years. I want to request Ratan Tata to check whether the donations he makes to the Wrestling Federation of India reach the athletes or not. He should enquire about the funds he has given to the federation."
