Rafael Nadal pulls out from ATP Miami Masters

21 time Grand Slam Champion Rafael Nadal has decided to skip the ATP Miami Masters to prepare for the European clay court season. The Australian Open winner who is playing in the ATP Indian Wells Masters had earlier said that the foot injury that he had suffered, he has never recovered from it. I have dire pain in the foot, he said. Due to which the Spaniard star is refraining from making long term plans. 

Nadal who did not have a great 2021, started 2022 with a bang as he took home the Australian Open Trophy. However, 6 months ago, due to his foot injury the Tennis ace was on crutches.

'I have to find the right balance between competing and when to stop and to do the things that help me play as long as possible', the 35-year-old said.
