PT Usha alleges harassment and hooliganism at her academy in Kerala

Legendary athlete and Indian Olympic Association president PT Usha on February 4 alleged encroachment and hooliganism at her academy, the Usha School of Athletics, in Balussery, Kerala.

Usha broke down while addressing the press in the capital, saying that she was concerned about the safety of female athletes at her academy.

She stated that some people barged into the compound of Usha School of Athletics and began construction work. 

Usha alleged that they were being targeted continuously. 'People including drug addicts, couples barge into the compound at night. We need to make sure of the safety of our girls,' she added.

The 58-year-old requested Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to interfere and resolve the issue.
