Neeraj Chopra becomes 1st Indian track & field athlete to attain No.1 world ranking

Neeraj Chopra continued to make India proud as he is now ranked number 1 in the world in men's javelin.

It's a career-high rank for the 25-year-old as he became the 1st Indian track & field athlete to be ranked number 1.

Neeraj, who became the first Indian to win a gold medal in track & field events at the Tokyo Olympics, will next be seen at the Paavo Nurmi Games 2023, to be held in Turku, Finland.

The Indian javelin superstar started his season by winning the Doha Diamond League on May 5.
