NBA Final: Golden State Warriors beat Boston Celtics to win 4th title in 8 years

Stephen Curry starred as Golden State Warriors won their 4th NBA title in 8 years after defeating Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6 of the NBA finals at the TD Garden, Boston.

While Curry scored 34 points, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole contributed with 18 and 15 respectively. Draymond Green and Klay Thomson also scored 12 points each as the team triumphed in the finale of the best of seven. 

For the hosts who were making their first NBA finals appearance since 2010, Jaylen Brown got 34 points and Al Horford got 19 points on board. They, though began the game on a strong foot, leading the game by 22-16 by the end of the first quarter, the Warriors soon overcame them and finished at 37-22 in halftime.

The Warriors won their first championship win in the past 4 years just 2 seasons after finishing a league-worst 15-50.
