As MotoGP gears up for its first-ever racing event in India to be held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, the organisers found themselves in the line of fire.

MotoGP India was using a distorted India map in its live streaming of practice sessions and didn't feature the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. It was pointed out by a user on the social media platform 'X'.

The organisers took action immediately and corrected the map. MotoGP even issued an official apology to fans saying, 'It is never our intent to make any statement other than other than that of support and appreciation for our host country.'
