After Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra voiced his support, India's Golden Boy Neeraj Chopra too has backed the protesting wrestlers.

In a Tweet, the 2020 Tokyo champion wrote, 'It hurts to see our athletes on teh streets demanding justice. They have worked hard to represent our nation and make us proud. As a nation, we are responsible for safeguarding the integrity and dignity of every individual, athlete or not'

The ace Javelin Thrower went on to add that whatever is happening should not have happened and requested the authorities to deal with the matter impartially and quickly.

For the past 4 days, the wrestlers who have accused ex-WFI chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation have trained and slept at the protest site at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
