India's celebrated gymnast Dipa Karmakar has been serving a two-year doping ban under whereabout rules, according to a Times of India report.
Karmakar, who historically finished 4th at Rio Olympics, has been under suspension since mid-2021 as mandated by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
News of the 29-year-old gymnast's suspension came to light in March 2022 when the International gymnastics federation revealed her 'suspended' status.
