Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic set a much anticipated semifinal date with young Tennis ace and World no. 1 Carlos Alacaraz after beating Karen Kachanov in a thrilling French Open quarterfinal.

The 2-time French Open champion who is chasing a record 23rd Slam dropped his first set only to overcome the scare with an amazing 2nd set tiebreak to beat the Russian 4-6, 7-6(0), 6-2, 6-4

The 36-year-old who is currently ranked World No. 3 is through to his 45th major semifinal and 12 in French Open. If he manages to win the title, he will return to the No. 1 spot in ATP rankings.
