After 3 long years, India's double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu has regained her spot in the Top 5 rankings in women's singles in the world.

The former World No. 2 hasn't played since the 2022 Commonwealth Games where she bagged a gold medal despite battling an ankle injury. Sindhu currently has 87218 points after 26 tournaments so far. She was forced to pull out of the 2022 World Championships because of the same injury as well.

Sindhu only started training on Monday after recovering from her injury and will be looking forward to the World Tour Finals later this year.
