Novak Djokovic's sense of humour may somedays triumph his achievements on court and a historic world ranking was not spared either.

As the world heaped praises on India's Rohan Bopanna for becoming the oldest first-time World Rank No. 1 player in Men's Doubles, Djokovic had a witty take.

Taking to Instagram, the Djoker wrote, 'Congratulations Bops. Amazing effort. And to do it at such a young age. Even more impressive.'

Forty-three-year-old Bopanna is also among the oldest players on Tour and his achievement is historic and a touch of the Serb's humour seems like the cherry on top.
