India's star with the golden arm, Neeraj Chopra will be back in 2023 Asian Games to defend his crown in the javelin throw event on 4th October in Hangzhou. 

Neeraj Chopra who is also the reigning Olympic and World Champion will be the favourite when he plays on Wednesday. But the World No. 1 will face fierce competition from Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, who had finished runner-up to Chopra in both the Asian Games in 2018 and the World Championships this year.

While India's ace Javelin thrower will be again vying for the top podium finish, he will also look to breach the 90m mark that has eluded him so far.
