Arunachal Pradesh's Mepung Lamgu has tweeted that she is doing okay and there is nothing to worry about just a day after it was reported that her family is unable to contact her.

Lamgu, a Wushu athlete, was among the three athletes who were denied visas for the ongoing Asian Games.

After the entire ordeal, her family in Arunachal Pradesh stated that they were unable to contact her and were worried about her emotional state.

But on September 23, Lamgu took to social media platform 'X' and wrote, 'I am alright and currently in SAI Hostel. I am in constant touch with my family and there's nothing to worry about. Thanks for the concern and support.'

She didn't specify which Sports Authority of India (SAI) hostel she is lodged at while also posting an image of having breakfast with SAI officials.
