Interestingly, India pipped hosts China by just one point to finish at the top of the podium. The Indian trio's aggregate score of 1734 was just one better than Chinese team, which settled for the silver medal, while Vietnam, with a score of 1730, bagged the bronze.
India had a slow start after Shiva Narwal scored 92 out of 100 in the first round. But India staged a brilliant recovery.
Both Sarabjot and Shiva needed to shoot 10 to win gold and they did it in style.
