On the seventh day of the Asian Games 2023, India won 5 medals taking the tally to a total of 38 medals in the 19th edition of the quadrennial event.
India grabbed 2 golds - one of them came as veteran Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale won the tennis mixed doubles, and another first-place finish came after a thrilling India vs. Pakistan clash in men's squash team event.
India got double medals in the men's 10,000 final as Kartik Kumar and Gulveer Singh won silver and bronze. India also got a silver in the mixed team 10m air pistol event earlier in the day.
India remains in the 4th spot with 10 gold medals, 14 silver and 14 bronze medals.
