Asian Games 2023: Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan bag gold in women's 25m pistol team event

Indian women shooters stuck gold on day 4 of Asian Games 2023 as the trio of Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan finished at the top of the podium in the women’s 25m pistol team event.

Indian women's team ended with a score of 1759 and beat China by a margin of just 3 points. Republic of Korea won bronze with 1742.

Manu topped the qualification round with 590 points while Esha finished fifth with 586. Rhythm ended at the 7th spot but since only two shooters per country were allowed in the individual final, Rhythm missed the cut.

The other Indian women's trio of Sift Kaur Samra, Ashi Chouksey and Manini Kaushik also won silver in the women’s 50m 3 Positions team event.
