Pair of Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu made history in Hangzhou on Thursday as they clinched a historic gold medal in squash Mixed Doubles at Asian Games 2023.
The top seeded Indian pair beat 2nd seeded Malaysian duo 2-0 in the final to become the first-ever Indian gold medallists in the event's history.
It was Gold medal number 20 for the nation, the first time ever that India breached the 20-mark in Asian Games history.
