Archers continued to make the nation proud at Asian Games 2023 as the Indian women's archery team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Aditi Swami and Parneet Kaur bagged Gold in the Women's Compound Team Final.

A perfect 30 for India in the final three shots of a seesaw battle put the Chinese Taipei trio under pressure, and they succumbed. The Indian trio won 230-229.

The same Indian women's trio struck gold in World Championships 2023 as well and have now completed a double.

While the Archery contingent struck second gold for in Asiad 2023, it was also the second time that Jyothi Surekha finished at the top of the podium in Hangzhou.
