India's premier athlete, Neeraj Chopra, was also present in the stadium when India played Australia in the ICC Cricket World Cup final.

But it was not until his photo surfaced a day later, that fans came to know that the 'Golden Boy' was in attendance.

During a recent interview with The Indian Express, Chopra had no complaints about the camera not panning to him during the game.

'I want them to show me when I compete. That is the real deal,' Chopra asserted.

He went on to say that when he participates in events like the Diamond League, they are not telecast properly, only highlights are shown.

The thought of appearing on the large screen at the stadium did not even cross his mind, he said, adding that he was there just to watch cricket.
