Three days after International Olympic Committee (IOC) threatened the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) with suspension, the Indian body termed IOC's warning a little bit out of line.

In the reply, acting president Anil Khanna said that currently, elections at IOA has been suspended by the court and also reminded the global body that India has one of the finest and most independent judicial system in the world.

While hoping to get a chance to put India's case, the letter also stated that IOA has been requesting the world body for a meeting to draw out the timelines for IOC's concerns.

Earlier, the International Olympic body issued a stern warning to IOA for not holding elections, which is pending since December 2021.
