Malaysia delivered a crushing 15-0 defeat to Chinese Taipei, while Korea triumphed over Bangladesh with a 5-1 scoreline. Malaysia dominated the pool, leading with three wins out of three matches, while Korea followed in second place with six points. Bangladesh, unfortunately, came in third with three points, and Chinese Taipei was left without a win.
