The inevitable has happened!
England and Mumbai Indians pace spearhead Jofra Archer will miss the remainder of IPL 2023 due to persistent elbow troubles.
Archer’s teammate at Sussex, Chris Jordan, who has already linked up with the 5-time champions, has been named as a replacement.
Mumbai signed Jordan for his base price of 2 crore rupees.

“Jofra Archer’s recovery and fitness continue to be monitored by ECB. The fast bowler will return home to focus on his rehabilitation," said MI in an official release.
Jordan, who is regarded as a death-overs specialist, made his IPL debut in 2016 and has so far played 28 matches and taken 27 wickets in the league.
