Kavin, from Chennai, was a wildcard entry in the event, supported by the Teruel-based Gaman Racing Global Service. He raced a BMW M1000RR against a formidable lineup that included machines from Ducati, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. He managed to qualify fourth among 29 riders, showcasing distinct competitive flair. Despite a fall during the race, he clocked a commendable time of 14:20.782s to secure a fourth-place finish.
