Los Angeles, Oct 24 (AP) — Jimuel Pacquiao, son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, is preparing to enter the professional boxing arena on November 29. The event will take place at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California, and is being organized by Manny Pacquiao Promotions, marking its debut in the U.S.

Jimuel will face Brendan Lally, who is also making his professional boxing debut. Their matchup is billed as the co-main event of the evening.

Legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao, who earned world titles across eight weight divisions, was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame this past June. The 46-year-old attempted a comeback shortly thereafter, vying for the WBC welterweight title but finished with a majority draw against Mario Barrios.

Should Manny Pacquiao decide to step back into the ring, it may well be as a grandfather, as Jimuel Pacquiao's fiancée is currently expecting their first child.

The 24-year-old Jimuel has cultivated his skills over a three-year amateur career, training at the famed Wild Card Boxing Gym, where his father refined his fighting prowess. AP KHS KHS
