As breaking of gender stereotypes is celebrated the world over as pride month in June, a cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir is being trolled on social media for her physical appearance.

Jasia Akhter is the only cricketer from J&K to earn a women's IPL contract and on May 27th, her team Delhi Capitals posted a birthday wish for her on their social media. However, several users ridiculed Akhter for her 'manly' appearance and some even called her 'Naseem Shah' or 'Naseem Shah' male version while commenting on the post. Some called her a 'transgender'.

But there were people who chose to spread love. They appreciated Jasia's talent and encouraged her to keep going without listending to the naysayers.
