Romario Shepherd might have played just 10 balls against the Delhi Capitals on Sunday but those were enough for him to inflict carnage.
The highlight of his knock was the last over as the West Indian powerhouse slammed 32 runs off Anrich Nortje, that included 4 sixes and 2 boundaries.
It's now the joint-sixth most expensive over in the history of the IPL. Shepherd's 39-run fiery knock powered the Mumbai Indians to 234/5.
His innings also ensured that MI got to their fourth highest innings total in this IPL. This was also their highest total at the Wankhede Stadium.
It was, however, a forgettable outing for Suryakumar Yadav, who perished for two-ball duck on his first game since mid-December last year.
But David’s fiery knock and Shepherd’s late fireworks ensured that they still had a huge total on board.
