Punjab Kings lost yet another last over thriller in IPL 2024 at Mullanpur despite Ashutosh Sharma's heroics to take the hosts closer to target.

Sharma smashed a 28-ball 61 to rattle Mumbai Indians, who were looking for a victory after a tough battle vs CSK at home.

But despite all that Sharma did, the Kings fell short and eventually lost by 9 runs.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Sharma sounded confident that a win is in sights for Punjab, 'We are working hard. Our intentions are good. Wins and losses, they are a part of the game. How you perform depends and we are playing well as a team. If we keep performing like this as a unit, we will cross the finish line and win soon.'

Sharma also revealed that he dedicated his half-century celebrations to his entire PBKS team and the coaching staff for showing faith in him and believing in him. The 2024 season is his first with Punjab.
