Lucknow Super Giants bowler Mayank Yadav impressed on his Indian Premier League debut by compromising Punjab Kings to win by 21 runs on Saturday.
Speaking at the post-match presser, Yadav laid emphasis on being consistent to help his team and added that he aims to concede as less runs as possible.
'This pace is a plus point for me, so I try to use it well,' the 21-year-old elaborated.
Yadav took three wickets in three overs so Punjab were unable to capitalise on a century opening partnership and were restricted to 178-5. Lucknow batted first and put up 199-8.
21-year-old Yadav troubled batters with his consistently searing pace and clocked 155.8 kph - the fastest ball recorded so far this year in the IPL.
