During yesterday's encounter between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals, Ishant Sharma and Virat Kohli got engaged in friendly banter.

As Ishant Sharma began his second over, all eyes were on Virat Kohli. On the second ball of the over, Kohli struck Ishant Sharma for a towering six over long-on, demonstrating his aggressive intent.

But soon, Ishant Sharma dealt a critical blow to RCB's ambitions when he removed Virat Kohli on the fourth delivery of the over. The ball took an edge as Kohli attempted to drive it, which the wicketkeeper safely pouched.

Ishant Sharma, in an interesting move, chose to give his old pal a good, competitive shoulder tug as Kohli was leaving the field, all while sporting a wide smile.

When Ishant came to bat in the second innings with the Capitals on the verge of defeat, the RCB star mocked him. Once again the two engaged in some light-hearted banter, with Kohli making fun of his Indian teammate.

Ishant remained unbeaten 0 off 4 balls as RCB stormed to their fifth straight IPL 2024 victory, beating Delhi Capitals by 47 runs.
