RCB star batter Virat Kohli has given his verdict on players who can be considered the greatest of all time(GOAT) in IPL history.
Surprisingly his choice did not include the likes of MS Dhoni or Rohit Sharma. The former Indian skipper picked Lasith Malinga and his former RCB teammate AB de Villiers as the two GOATs of the IPL.
While Malinga has been one of the best death bowlers in the IPL and has won many games for the Mumbai Indians, AB de Villiers too has entertained the crowd while playing for RCB and has turned out to be the match-winner on many occasions.
The South African batter scored 5162 runs in 184 IPL games at an average of 39.71 and a strike rate of 151.69. Lasith Malinga, meanwhile, picked up 170 wickets in 122 matches at a brilliant economy rate of 7.14. The Sri Lankan is the third-highest wicket-taker in IPL history.
