IPL 2023 didn't turn out to be the kind of tournament Rohit Sharma would have expected it to be with the bat.

In fact, there was no sign of the Hitman on most occasions and despite the Mumbai Indians finishing 4th, IPL 2023 went from bad to worse for Rohit the batter.

The MI skipper was out for just 11 in the Eliminator vs the Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday. He has just two fifty-plus scores in this IPL and averages around 22.

In fact, when it comes to the knockout stage, that is in IPL Qualifiers, Eliminators and Semis combined, Rohit has just scored 125 runs in 14 innings.

He averages under 10 with a strike rate of 88. Rohit's highest score of 26 in those games is also nowhere near the standards he has set.
