Put to bat first, Opener Wriddhiman Saha (18) got dismissed early on in the game. However, it was the fiery knock by Shubman Gill (129) whose 3rd IPL hundred floored the Mumbai bowlers and gave Gujarat a mammoth 233-run total to defend.

Chasing a massive 234, Rohit Sharma (8) and makeshift opening partner Nehal Wadhera (4) were dismissed for a collective total of just 12 runs.

Tilak Varma's 14-ball 43 along with Surya's 38-ball 61 gave the 5-time champions hope, but weren't enough as Mohit Sharma's fifer restricted Mumbai to just 171 in the end.
