Rohit Sharma came into IPL 2023 with not rich form with the bat but not many believed that he will have such a mediocre run.
The Mumbai Indians skipper demoted himself in the game vs CSK but that too didn't work. Rohit once again got out without opening his account, his second consecutive duck in the league.
In fact, it was Rohit's 16th overall score of 0 in the IPL, the most by any batter in the history of the cash-rich league.
It's not just the IPL where he has failed to impress but Rohit has failed to find his mojo in the shortest format for Team India as well.
In T20 tournaments since 2016, the 36-year-old has averaged just 21 in 122 innings. His strike rate of 121 is also concerning. 20 ducks during this time makes it disastrous 7 years in T20 cricket for Rohit.
