Sunil Gavaskar suggested that Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma should take some time off IPL 2023 and return fresh for the World Test Championship final in June.
After MI's 56-run loss against the Gujarat Titans, the former India captain said that Rohit should take a break.
'Come back again for the last few matches, but right now take a breather. He is looking slightly preoccupied, maybe he is thinking about the WTC,' Gavaskar added.
The Hitman hasn't looked at his usual best this season and has scored 181 runs in 7 matches so far at a below par average of 25.8.
