Royal Challengers Bangalore have moved to the 4th spot on IPL 2022 points table after defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 13 runs on Wednesday (May 4). RCB now have 12 points in 11 matches. Rajasthan Royals also have 12 points but Sanju Samson-led side has a superior net run rate than RCB.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings are virtually out of IPL 2022 playoffs race after they lost their 7th match in 10 games. They can now attain a maximum of 14 points which is not sufficient unless other top teams play badly in their remaining matches.

The IPL debutants Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants are first and second on IPL 2022 team rankings.

Moreover, Jos Buttler continues to be the leading run-scorer in IPL 2022 with 588 runs in 10 games and currently holding the orange cap. Rajasthan's Yuzvendra Chahal is currently holding the purple cap with 19 wickets in 10 matches.
