In a recent discussion on the future leadership of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh expressed his opinion that the team should consider reinstating Virat Kohli as captain. According to Harbhajan, Kohli's unique blend of intent, commitment, and aggression makes him the ideal candidate to lead RCB in upcoming seasons.

This suggestion comes amidst the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season, where Kohli has been in stellar form, currently standing as the leading run-scorer. With 661 runs from 13 innings and a strike rate of 155.16, his performance has been a key factor in keeping RCB in contention for the playoffs. Despite RCB's fifth position on the table with 12 points, their chances of advancing remain uncertain.

Harbhajan shared his thoughts on the matter during the latest episode of Star Sports' Press Room, where he compared Kohli's potential impact on RCB to that of MS Dhoni's influence over the Chennai Super Kings. "If they don't qualify, they should look to get some Indian guy. Why not bring Virat Kohli back as captain. As Dhoni has a lot of impact in Chennai, Virat Kohli is a big leader, he knows the kind of cricket they need to play," Harbhajan commented.

He further elaborated on the qualities that Kohli could bring back to the captaincy role. "Now they are playing with a lot of aggression, a lot of intent and that is what Virat Kohli brings. I would like to see Virat Kohli leading the side going forward."
