T20 cricket is always said to be more friendly to batters and to keep the balance, many rule changes have been brought from time to time so that we get to witness the equal battle between the bat and the ball and one such rule change was introduced in the ongoing IPL which is a two-bouncer rule. This rule has brought some relief to bowlers as they can test batsman with one more bouncer in the over yet few raise questions on the ground dimensions and pitches of the IPL.
In yesterday's IPL match, we witnessed various records being made and broken as SRH posted a mammoth 278-run target against Hardik Pandya's MI which was the highest-ever T20 score in an innings but even after such a giant score, It was not a one-sided game as Mumbai went on to score 245 runs in reply and lost the game by just 31 runs. A total of 38 sixes were smashed during this course which is also the record.
