Australia's veteran batter Steve Smith announced via a social media post that he would be a part of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023).
However, the Aussie didn't reveal in what capacity he will be joining the world's biggest cricket league.
But if media reports are to be believed, Smith will join the English commentary team for IPL 2023.
33-year-old Smith didn't find any buyers in last year's IPL auction. Smith last played for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021, scoring 152 runs in eight games.
