After a spectacle-filled Sunday, Lucknow Super Giants will be eager to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore on their home turf.

Vengeance will be on LSG's mind as RCB beat the team from Lucknow in the eliminator last season and ended their hopes of making it to the final.

The Super Giants have won 2 of the 3 matches so far in IPL 2023, with both those victories coming at home.

LSG’s spinners breathed fire against visitors Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday and took a total of 6 wickets between the thre of them.

However, KL Rahul's men now leave Lucknow and travel to Bangalore. Interestingly, the only loss so far for LSG has come outside home when they lost a close encounter vs CSK.

LSG would also hope that its batters become more consistent. While Kyle Mayers has been outstanding, skipper KL Rahul, Deepak Hooda and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis' form is a concern.

Bangalore reeling from the after-effects of the disastrous defeat handed to them by Kolkata Knight Riders on April 6 will have to bring out their A-game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

RCB will expect more runs from their batters and discipline in death overs when they take on LSG.

RCB will hope to replicate the magic from their first match against Mumbai Indians when their batters took MI’s bowling unit to the cleaners to register a sweet victory against the 5-time champions at this very ground

TEAM NEWS

LSG will be banking on star pacer Mark Wood to return after giving the previous match a miss due to an illness.

Apart from Mark Wood’s re-entry, LSG’s playing XI is unlikely to change after their thumping victory at Ekana on Friday.

Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga who was wrapping up national duties is expected to join the RCB camp before the April 10th match.

Hasaranga’s inclusion in the playing XI is likely to solve RCB’s death over woes.

WEATHER REPORT

It is expected to be a windy evening in Bengaluru with temperatures dropping towards the later half of the evening.

HEAD-to-HEAD

RCB have faced Lucknow only twice in IPL 2022 and both times they emerged victorious.
