IPL 2023 points table: Punjab moved to 5th spot, Lucknow remain at 2nd despite losing vs Gujarat

Punjab Kings moved to the fifth spot on IPL 2023 points table after registering a 13-run victory over Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. 

With the defeat, Mumbai's three-match winning streak came to an end. Mumbai slipped to the seventh spot after the defeat from Punjab. 

Early in the day, Lucknow Super Giants remained at the second spot despite suffering a 7-run defeat from defending champions Gujarat Titals, who are at the 4th spot.

Lucknow have 4 wins in seven matches, while Gujarat too have 4 victories under their belt but played one game less than LSG. 

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals continued to top the IPL 2023 points table with 8 points and a superior net run rate of 1.043.
