Even before the start of IPL 2023, Mumbai Indians have been rocked by bad news. Australia's all-rounder Cameron Green will not be able to bowl till 13 April due to the workload management policy of the Australian board.

Green became the second most expensive player in IPL history after Mumbai Indians bought him for Rs 17.50 crore in the 2023 auction.

According to Cricket Australia's workload rules, if Green plays all four matches in the Border Gavaskar Trophy against India, he will not bowl for the next four weeks after the end of the last Test match.

The Kangaroo all-rounder is currently recovering from a finger injury, which he suffered during the Test series against South Africa.
