With the race for the top four intensifying with each passing game, the Lucknow Super Giants will look to regain the top spot when they take on the Punjab Kings in the second of the two matches on Super Saturday.

The home side have a 100% record at the Ekana Stadium this year with KL Rahul's men winning both of their matches at the venue so far.

As KL Rahul gets ready to face his former franchise, the team will be banking on the skillset of their spin twins Ravi Bishnoi & Amit Mishra who will look to exploit the favourable conditions in Lucknow.

Punjab Kings, meanwhile, will come to Lucknow after two consecutive losses. While Kagiso Rabada finally got a game against the Gujarat Titans, they are still sweating over the fitness of Liam Livingstone.

TEAM NEWS

For Lucknow, Kyle Mayers started IPL 2023 with two fifties but after scores of 13 & 0 in the last two matches, the Super Giants will be tempted to bring in Quinton de Kock into the playing XI.

Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan after the loss against Gujarat had confirmed that Liam Livingstone had pulled a muscle in training and might take 3-4 days to attain full fitness. If that's the case, he will miss the contest against LSG.
