Kolkata Knight Riders captain Nitish Rana has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate against Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens.

Rana was fined Rs 12 lakh from his match fees.

This was KKR's first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences.

Kolkata clinched a thrilling win against Punjab in the last-ball finish at the Eden Gardens. A half-century by Nitish Rana and fiery cameos from Andre Russell and Rinku Singh helped Knight Riders register a five-wicket victory.
