Gujarat Titans, who successfully defended the lowest total in IPL 2023 in their last match against LSG, will be eager to carry that momentum forward. But standing in their way are the Mumbai Indians, who have too started to peak after 2 losses in their first 2 outings.

Rohit Sharma's men were on a 3-match winning streak after that before they fell just a little short in their previous game vs the Punjab Kings.

MI is still in the bottom half of the table and would be eager to make a move. But for that to happen, Mumbai need to fix its bowling woes.

Gujarat is better placed when compared to MI and is on the 4th spot with 4 wins from 6 games.

Unlike Mumbai, GT has a decent bowling attack but an inexperienced middle order is a concern.

Interestingly, toss might be crucial in this game. In 3 games in Ahmedabad this season, the chasing team has won on all occasions.

TEAM NEWS

Mumbai might include Riley Meredith in place of Jason Behrendorff, as the latter went for 41 runs in his 3 overs vs PBKS.

As for Gujarat, Hardik Pandya is expected to bring back B Sai Sudharsan in place of Abhinav Manohar in the playing XI.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Gujarat and Mumbai have faced each other just once in the IPL, with MI winning that encounter last year.

WEATHER FORECAST

It will be another hot evening in Ahmedabad on Tuesday with temperature around 30 degree celsius. A good cloud cover will also make it humid and dew might be a factor later on.
