The Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to return to winning ways on Friday but standing in their way are the Chennai Super Kings.

CSK can truly call themselves as the King of the South after snatching a thrilling win from RCB in their previous game and sit at the 3rd spot with 3 wins from 5 matches. MS Dhoni's brigade will have the home advantage and Chepauk is no less than a fortress for CSK.

However, CSK need to work a lot on their bowling, which lacks ruthlessness.

SRH on the other handed had a shaky start to the IPL with 2 losses but they bounce back to win 2 games in a row.

However, the Orange Army was crushed by the Mumbai Indians in their last outing and are now languishing at the 9th spot.

TEAM NEWS

MS Dhoni is nursing a knee injury but Thala should be fit enough to take the field. While CSK need to fix their fielding, SRH need to strengthen their top order. However, both sides are unlikely to make any changes.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

In the 18 meetings between the two sides, CSK has the advantage with 13 wins against SRH. In the last 6 meetings, it's 4-2 in favour of CSK. In IPL 2022, both won a game each.

WEATHER REPORT

It's expected to be hot and humid in Chennai on Friday with the temperature around 29 degree Celsius. Though no rain is predicted but due is likely to affect the side bowling second.
