Chennai Super Kings' Deepak Chahar whose injury woes do not seem to end has once again hurt his hamstring and could miss the next few IPL games.

Chahar who missed almost the entire 2022 season hobbled after bowling one over against Mumbai Indians as his left hamstring injury resurfaced. Suresh Raina during the commentary said that the 30-year-old might remain out for 4-5 games.

Meanwhile, skipper MS Dhoni praised his team who registered a 7-wicket win at the Wankhede stadium. While applauding the young Chennai bowlers Sisanda Magala and Tushar Deshpande, Dhoni said that the victory was satisfying considering his team lost the services of Chahar in the first over itself.
